Ready State Retention Solutions is an Idaho holster business founded by Landon Darst. Built from a background in law enforcement, the idea is simple: dependable retention and comfort that make sense for everyday life.

We’re a new small business rooted in the Caldwell and Middleton community. Every order starts with a conversation about what you carry and what you need from it.

Will my firearm and light combination fit?

Every combination needs to be confirmed. Include the exact firearm generation and light model in your request. Sending a request does not guarantee that we can make that setup.

How much does a holster cost?

Sawyer Essential starts at $39.99, Hudson Apex starts at $49.99, and Blake Scout starts at $59.99, before tax and options. A modwing is an optional $9.99 add-on for both Sawyer Essential and Hudson Apex; it is not included with either model and is not applicable to Blake Scout. Blake Scout includes a standard combat belt loop. For custom attachments, describe your request in the extra details box for full pricing, as attachment prices vary. We’ll confirm your final total before taking payment.

How long will my order take?

Our current lead time is 7–10 business days. We’ll confirm the timing when your order is accepted.

How do I pay?

Payment is currently accepted through Venmo. We’ll email your Venmo payment instructions upon acceptance of your order. No payment is collected through this website.

How does pickup work?

Orders are available for local pickup in Caldwell, Idaho. We’ll provide the pickup address and arrange a pickup time when we notify you that your order is ready. Shipping is not available at this time.

Can I return my holster or receive a refund?

All sales are final. No returns or refunds.

Can I order something different from the models shown?

Yes—choose “Custom / Help me choose” and describe what you have in mind. We’ll discuss what is possible before confirming the build.
